Hello! My name is Levi Maia Braga, I’m a computer science student in São Paulo, Brazil. I’m interested in backend systems, Python, Linux, databases, developer tools, and the offensive side of security.
Right now I’m working through data structures and algorithms every day, and planning Ormaos, a tool for understanding what happens inside a Python execution. It’s going to be my first big project and it’s also going to be open source, so I’m really excited. My biggest inspirations as a builder are Sentry, Stripe, Vercel and Supabase. I think these companies built something really great, and they’re the reason I want to create my own dev tool someday.
After finding some personal sites while looking at LinkedIn profiles, I decided that I would also create one for myself. The objective was to show a little more about me, what I like, the projects I build and the blog posts I write. Another thing is the freedom that comes with creating your own website, you can do literally ANYTHING! Which is quite nice \(ᵔᵕᵔ)/
I want to be able to show the world what I build and my thoughts on many different things, so I think this will be really fun ~(^-^)~
So I did some research for templates and found Astro Paper, saw that it had good SEO, was simple and quite pretty, so I went ahead and asked Claude Code to copy it and change it a little for what I wanted. The entire source code for this website can be found on my GitHub profile, feel free to copy and change it if you want to.
So far my website has a home page, with a short description about me, a blog section, with this post and any other future posts, a project section, with all the cool things I’ve built so far, a resume page with my current resume and the date which was last updated, and a contact section, with all my social media and my email, feel free to contact me in any platform about anything or connect with me on LinkedIn.
In my free time I like to play video games, read, watch anime and go to the gym. My favorite anime is One Piece! (check the footer (｡◕‿‿◕｡)!)
My future posts will probably be more technical, this was just an intro to get to know me a little better, have fun!
